FAQ

Is chiropractic safe?: Yes. It is the only manual therapy in the world, recognized by WHO (World Health Organization). It has gained its popularity over the world for its effectiveness and safety, supported by plenty of evidence.

Why doesn’t chiropractic seem safe in Japan?: Because of lack of regulation, there is neither national standard nor license system in Japan. This unique situation allows many to name themselves chiropractors, even without qualification. We are 0.01% of the U.S. certified doctors.

Does an insurance company cover chiropractic?: No it doesn’t. Chiropractic fee is not deductible in general.

Is treatment painful?: In general, no. When discomfort is anticipated, we let you know.

I don’t want to be seen me getting treatment.: We have private treatment rooms. Only your doctor will see you.

How many visits will I need?: With the exception for severe/chronic condition, 50% or more improvement can be expected within 5 visits.

Can I make an appointment via e-mail?: Yes, you can. Please call us if there is no reply within 24 hours.

Should I go on time of my appointment?: Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your first appointment time. On your following visits, please arrive the clinic 5 minutes early to get ready for treatment.

Do you accept a credit card?: We only accept cash. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

How many cases of herniated disc patients have you treated?: We have treated more than 5,000 patients with herniated disc over a decade. 90% of them have improved/recovered within 10 visits.

Are there any cases you can’t improve?: Except for such serious cases in which, for example, one can’t move his or her arms or feet at all, our patients can expect a certain amount of improvement with recommended treatment frequency.

How many times and how long should I receive treatments?: Ideally, you should receive 2-3 treatments in a week for one or two months. If this plan is difficult for whatever reason, once a week for 2-3 months is also good enough.

How many cases of spinal canal stenosis patients have you treated?: We have treated more than 1,000 patients with spinal canal stenosis over a decade. 80% of them have improved/recovered within 10 visits.

Are there any cases you can’t improve?: Except for such serious cases in which, for example, one can’t move his or her arms or feet at all, our patients can expect a certain amount of improvement with recommended treatment frequency.
